I saw this and just thought that it was the neatest idea! You can actually take a piece of your gown and get it turned into a necklace! Amazing, right?!

All they need is a 1 inch square piece of fabric that can be taken from an inside seam or the scraps from alterations. You can customize the background color as well. 

OR - have a piece of your mother's or grandmother's gown preserved and wear it down the aisle as a special keepsake.
