Easy DIY Gold Vases!

I love easy DIY projects, especially for brides! I always tell my brides to pick projects for your wedding that you can complete way ahead of time and are stress free. Don't get me wrong - DIY projects can completely make a wedding! Those personal touches add so much meaning to the event and make it customized to you guys as a couple. But really, who wants to be up to 1:00 am the week of their wedding tying 100 bows on something?

This project is perfect for a bride that wants an extra touch for her tables but doesn't want to spend a ton of time (or money!) - AND it's gorgeous!!

Aren't they pretty?!

All you need to make your own are:

Cheap Glass Vases
Painter's Tape
Metallic Spray Paint

Simply tape off your design and spray on the paint! (two coats should do it, and don't wait too long to peel off the tape)

You can see that she taped down her design and then added a little extra for the rim. Filling the center prevents the spray getting on the inside as well.

The patterns are endless! Each of your tables could be a different look, adding unique touches throughout. You could use any metallic or color of paint - or mix it up - or go for an ombre effect!

And yes - I HAD to add the picture with the gold Gator! What a classy way to include your UF Pride! Go Gators!! :) (Can you tell I'm counting down the days to football season?!)

What do you think of this project? Easy, inexpensive, and impressive! Do you agree?
